Removable eyebolts are designed for use with a compliant safety lanyard and full body harness.
Removable eyebolts offer an aesthetically pleasing solution for buildings that do not need permanent eyebolts. They work in connection with davit arms systems and abseiling anchors. The safety lanyard must incorporate an energy absorbing shock absorber and be no more than 2m long.
Removable eyebolts, as well as any fall arrest system used for Work at Height must be inspected and compliance tested once every 12 months, Altus Safety offer complete compliance testing to ensure that these systems are approved to regulatory standards. We guarantee that our removable eyebolt sockets conform to the standards set by BS EN 795: 2012 A, BS 7883 2019.
