Safety Line Compliance Testing & Certification

Manufacturers recommend Safety Line Testing for every 12 months however we strongly recommend that you test your safety line or cable systems every 6 months for peace of mind. Not only will you be safe from potential harm, if something does happen your company can show that it has done everything to prevent accidents happening.

Using specialist equipment that is regularly checked and calibrated our engineers test and inspect all of your working at height assets to ensure they’re safe and compliant in accordance with the latest relevant standards.

Our engineers are approved and experienced and familiar with the full range of safety line products and manufacturers found in the UK, including Overhead Safety Line Testing, Horizontal Safety Line Testing, Vertical Safety Line Testing, Track Safety Line Testing and Internal Safety Line Testing, so you can rely on Altus Safety to ensure that all equipment is fully compliant and ready to use next time it’s needed.

Altus Safety Protection

If any repairs or improvements are needed to your equipment we will provide you with a clear, easy to understand, detailed report and estimate.

Should a minor repair be needed that our engineers are able to complete in the same visit, our team will contact you to agree the works whilst we are still on site – avoiding the need for costly additional visits.

Once the site visit is complete we will ensure all Safety Line, Cable or Track systems are tagged and dated clearly, provide certificates as well as any reports and images.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure you remain compliant, that your people are safe and the integrity of your assets are maintained. We will remove the stress and hassle of managing inspection and testing dates as our team will contact you at least 2 months prior to any required inspection we have on our database.

This allows us to arrange a mutually convenient date for the site visit and ensures that equipment is always ready for use.
